“This was the studio’s rst attempt at actually creating a product directly from 3D printing, so it was an experimental project to say the least in a universe that has few boundaries. In many ways, this suited the process perfectly as it was ideal for the collectors’ market.
We produced several variations of the design and apparently this one became the most popular. It was interesting to cross over into the fashion market, which was a whole new epicentre compared to that of furniture and product design.”
