Finally, after 2 years of hard machine work and polishing, the first Hex Chair found its way to the Hedge Gallery in San Francisco.
From this a limited collection of tables, shelves and even a bathroom sink was designed as part of a limited edition. The material blocks are made at source for the project in the highest grade aluminum, then CNC over a series of months. Each item has to be hand-polished to achieve the fine line divisions and is then given a one-particle coating in order to protect the surface whilst at the same time maintaining the gloss surface. |
