Thinking man’s head was a commission for a private client in the hospitality business. It is a take on the classical bust and made in porcelain with a textured surface reminiscent of that found on the cerebral cortex.

It’s title references a designer Michael much admires, Jasper Morrison, and his Thinking Man’s Chair. It is one of a series of objects that will continue the studios research into surfacing and craft but also things that are somewhat more spiritual and live outside the realms of industrial design.
