Georg Jensen - Voyage Shoehorn

The Voyage Shoehorn was added to the Georg Jensen Voyage collection in 2009, a range we designed with the modern traveller specifically in mind. We travel more than ever before, and anyone who is constantly on the go knows how much stress accumulates in the small rituals of daily life, getting out of the door being one of them. The shoehorn is made from polished stainless steel with an ABS and rubber base, weighted at the foot so that it stands independently and can be grabbed without thought on the way out. A leather or rubber strap allows it to be hung on a hook if preferred. It measures 53.4 centimetres tall, giving it the reach of a full standing shoehorn without needing to be propped against anything. It became one of the most popular pieces in the Voyage collection, particularly in Japan, where it sold in considerable numbers through Georg Jensen's retail network and through domestic stockists. The piece continues to be available through Georg Jensen globally.
