Welcome to the first volume of the Sheung Wan Herald, our publication designed to share our news and discoveries with the creative community. After a decade based in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, this magazine serves as a porthole into our studio's evolving experiences and archival highlights. This issue features an in depth case study on our partnership with Jougor, a brand we helped build from the ground up starting in 2015. Our work included designing the complete corporate identity and an innovative product line that earned both Red Dot and Australian Good Design Awards in 2016.
Our team has also been active globally with several major exhibitions and a refreshed studio identity launched this year. We celebrate our passion for material experimentation through the Al( ) exhibition at the Grand Hornu in Belgium and the Metal Rock show in Brussels, which focused on the unique properties of aluminium and aluminium foam. Alongside these events, we share highlights from Michael's international lecture schedule and a look back at iconic previous projects like the PXR5 watch and the LessThanFive carbon fibre chair. We invite you to explore this collection of news and eye candy as a reflection of our ten years of design in Sheung Wan.
