We are proud to present Volume 5 of the Sheung Wan Herald, our studio's publication documenting our latest design journeys from our base in Hong Kong. This issue features an extensive case study on our multi-year collaboration with KEF to create the LSX wireless music system, a project that blends high-end audio heritage with a youthful, fabric-wrapped aesthetic. By meticulously analysing colour, material, and finish combinations, we developed a compact system that offers uncompromising sound quality in five distinct colourways designed to complement modern interiors.
Beyond audio, this period has seen a diverse range of global launches, including a faceted Christmas tree for The Upper House, limited edition furniture for Gallery ALL, and the European release of the cult Moke car. We have continued our material experiments with 3D-knitted textiles, reaction-diffusion patterns for luxury rugs, and industrial aluminium foam inspired by Chinese philosophy. Alongside these professional milestones, we celebrate the arrival of Michael’s second son and share a look at the brands currently inspiring our team, from high-performance running gear to historic watch movements.
