Hexchair

The Hex Chair is one of our most technically ambitious pieces. Crafted from die-cast aluminium using a complex lost wax gravity injection process, every sharp facet and geometric surface was pushed to the absolute limits of what the casting technique could achieve. We developed the chair in close collaboration with precision engineers in China, working through extensive computer rendering and painstaking handwork to bring the design to life. The honeycomb-inspired form sits at the heart of our wider Hex collection, which grew into a limited edition family of tables, shelves and objects. The Hex Chair made its debut at Design Miami before being shown at Hedge Gallery in San Francisco, and is available in finishes from silver to black and white.
