The KEF Obsessions exhibition stand was our first opportunity to design a spatial experience for KEF, bringing the brand's design philosophy to life at the SuperDesign Show in Milan in April 2016. It was KEF's first ever appearance at the event, and the brief was to deliver what KEF themselves describe as the ultimate sensory experience: listening enjoyment through high resolution sound, luxury through touch and feel, and a feast for the eyes through design. The stand was conceived as a dedicated immersive environment within Superstudio Piu on Via Tortona, creating a space where every material and surface decision was considered in relation to KEF's obsessive approach to speaker engineering. It was also the beginning of a deeper ongoing collaboration with KEF that would lead directly to the LSX wireless speaker and the wider Michael Young Collection that followed.
