Pissarro Dining was a unique restaurant experience we designed in the heart of Hong Kong's nightlife district in Central. Situated on the 11th floor of The Loop on Wellington Street, the brief was to create a space that placed the diner inside something genuinely considered, a contrast to the commercial interiors that surround it. The design united traditional craft ideology with technology-led processes, treating the two not as opposites but as natural collaborators. The result was a 40-seat Western restaurant with a sense of calm and intimacy unusual for its location and context, where the quality of the environment was as important as what arrived on the plate.
